FROM THE CLASS OF 1985 - MICHELLE KALIKIN BROOKS
Michelle was a key factor in the early success of the Olmsted Falls girls' track and cross country programs. She was a four-time MVP in both cross country and track and was on the winning State cross country team in 1981. In track, she participated in a State record-setting 3200-meter relay. She won two State individual titles and was All-Ohio a total of eleven times. Michelle was a Kinney All-American in cross country and placed fifth in the 1500 meters at the junior nationals. Off the track, Michelle was successful academically as well. She furthered her running career at Clemson University in South Carolina on a full athletic scholarship. While there, she continued to achieve success on Clemson's national caliber cross country and track teams. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in early childhood education in 1989. Michelle currently resides in Chesapeake, Virginia, with her husband and two children.
