Abby Jaroscak Latra, ’98, started her athletic career at a very young age, participating in gymnastics and soccer, and in middle school began cheerleading, basketball, and track, which she continued throughout high school in all twelve athletic seasons. Captain for all three sports, she earned nine varsity letters and continues to hold school records for track in the 100-meter, 200-meter, and as anchor for the 800-meter relay team. Abby was undefeated in the 100-meter, only lost one race in four years in the 200-meter, and earned the SWC MVP honor her sophomore year. She was a Division 1 District and Regional champion in the 100-meter and the first girl in OFHS history to score points at the State level in Division 1, where she placed fourth in the 100-meter her senior year. She continued her education at Central Michigan University on a track scholarship and graduated in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Sports Management. Currently she is a Director of Operations for Quicken Loans and resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan, with her husband Nick, and daughter Aubrey and son William.
