BRAD APPLE, ’80, was voted “Most Athletic” in his class and enjoyed both individual and team success while a student at OFHS.  He earned a total of 10 varsity letters during his 4-year athletic career, one for tennis, and three each for golf, basketball, and baseball.  In basketball he was co-captain of a conference championship team his senior year and named to the All-Conference, All-Section and All-District teams.  He was captain of his baseball team and team MVP, All Star for the North Team, and Plain Dealer All Tournament Team.  Brad was also captain of his golf team, Conference and team MVP, and tied the school record for the lowest 9-hole score.  Brad earned all-state honors for both baseball and golf, and he used his early success to springboard himself into a career in golf.  As of 2005 Brad has completed his 20th year as a PGA golf professional; his current position is as the Club Pro at Sylvania Country Club in Sylvania, Ohio.  He and his wife Debbie reside in Maumee, Ohio
