Bryce Burkhard, ’96, was a four-year varsity letter winner in wrestling and a two-year letter winner in track and football during his career at OFHS. He earned All-Ohio status in wrestling his senior year, placing fourth at the State Wrestling Tournament. He was first team all-conference in wrestling three times and second team once. He finished his wrestling career with 108 victories, a school record at the time. In football, Bryce earned second team all-conference status. In track, he won first team all-conference status in the four-by-four hundred meter relay and sixth in the long jump. In his senior year he was voted 1996 Male Athlete of the Year by the OFHS staff. Bryce currently teaches sixth grade at Olmsted Falls Middle School and coaches football, wrestling and track. He and his wife Courtney live in Brunswick with their son Camden and daughter Addison.
