Christine Snyder Corbin, ’87 was an outstanding athlete at OFHS during the last 1980’s, with a distinguished four-year career in volleyball, basketball, and softball. In 1986 and 1987 she was basketball Plain Dealer player of the week. With a 24 point scoring average during her senior year, Christine was named 1st team All-District, 1st team and MVP Southwestern Conference, Plain Dealer Dream Team, 3rd team All-Ohio, 1st team Northeast Region, Chronicle Telegram All-Star Team, and Associated Press West All-Star Team. She was second in the state scoring. Throughout her softball career, she held the highest batting average for three years straight and was voted 1st team All-Conference in 1985, 1986, and 1987. Christine lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband, Jack, and teaches 8th grade Algebra.
