DOUG DICKERSON, ’90, was a three-year starter on the varsity basketball team, earning three letters from 1988 to 1990, and was awarded the Southwest Conference First Team recognition.  He was named Most Valuable Player of the Southwestern Conference in his senior year.  He was also named to the All-Northeast District First Team and the WUAB Channel 43 Top Ten Team, which honored the ten best basketball players in Greater Cleveland.  As a senior he was chosen for the All Ohio First Team U. P. I., scored 1,254 career points, and was co-captain of the first OFHS District Championship team in modern times which advanced to the Regional Tournament.  Doug continued his basketball career at Baldwin-Wallace College.
