FRANK ATKINS, ’83, excelled as a member of the OFHS track team. At the time of his graduation he was a school record-holder in both hurdles events and also in the 1600-meter relay, and to this day he is still the record holder in most points scored in a career (1980 – 1983), season (356) and 3200-meter relay. He was a three-time M.V.P. and represented OFHS in both his sophomore year (300 meter low hurdles) and senior year (300 meter low hurdles, 5th place and 3200 meter relay, 4th place). He graduated from Bowling Green with a BS in Construction Management and currently works in the engineering department of Premier Manufacturing Corporation and as a fireman in the Cleveland Fire Department. Frank and his wife Sara (French, OFHS Class of 1986) live in the Westpark neighborhood of Cleveland with their daughter Emily.
