JEFF CHASE (coach), served Olmsted Falls High School as a guidance counselor, football coach, and track coach for a period of twenty-five years. As a football coach, he was the defensive coordinator during the time when the Bulldogs consistently led the Southwestern Conference in defense, won four Southwestern Conference Championships, and won two State of Ohio Division II playoff qualifiers. He was also the Head Football Coach for a period of nine years. As the head coach of the women’s track team, Jeff developed a consistently successful team that earned 129 dual meet victories, placed second in the Conference fourteen times, placed first in the Conference five times, earned seven State of Ohio District titles, several Regional titles, and placed second in the State in 1985. Jeff introduced the Southwestern Conference Scholar Athlete Award that is still given today and created the John Sanders Invitational Track Meet. Jeff and his wife Tammy live in Avon Lake and have a son Chris who lives in Alabama.
