SHARON HOSKO, ’80, played volleyball and basketball during her years at Olmsted Falls High School. She was a four-year varsity starter in volleyball and made the All Southwest Conference Volleyball team her sophomore, junior, and senior years. Her team went to state semifinals during her sophomore year. She was captain during her senior year and was voted the team’s MVP. She was selected for the All Sun-West Volleyball Team and was second in the Southwest Conference MVP voting. Sharon played basketball for three years. During her senior year she was named All Southwest Conference Honorable Mention and Plain Dealer Dream Team Honorable Mention. She was also team co-captain. Sharon continued her athletic endeavors at the collegiate level and was recently inducted into the Baldwin-Wallace College Athletic Hall of Fame. She currently lives in Berea and manages the Brecksville Nature Center for the Cleveland Metroparks.
