STACEY OFFUTT WIGHT, ’89, was the only basketball player, male or female, in OFHS history to score 1,000 or more points and collect 1,000 or more rebounds.  Her senior year she was named UPI Division II Ohio Player of the Year, first team All Southwestern Conference, and the leading scorer in the Greater Cleveland Area.  She set school records for field goal percentage, steals per game, steals per season, career steals, assists per game, and career assists.  Stacey earned a total of ten varsity letters during her high school career, four basketball, four softball, and two volleyball letters and was a two-time captain in both basketball and softball.  She was also recognized with first team All Conference honors in softball her junior and senior years.  Stacey and her husband Bill live in Columbus with their two children Ben and Brie.
