STEPHEN KANE, ’78, was recognized during his high school career for his achievements in both football and wrestling.  During his senior year he was tri-captain of the football team and co-captain of the wrestling team.  That year’s football team was a co-champion of the Southwestern Conference, the first time since 1959.  Stephen was chosen All Conference defensive tackle, Cleveland Press and Plain Dealer All-Scholastic Offensive Guard, All District “AA” lineman of the year, and was selected for the First Team All State Defensive Line.  He was also honored with the team’s Team Player Award.  Stephen, his wife Teresa (Lester),’78, and their daughters Emily, Sarah, and Rachel live in Berea.
