Wren Lorek Timura, ’96, was a three-sport athlete, competing in volleyball, basketball, and softball and earning a combined total of seven varsity letters. As a senior she received second team All-SWC and first team All-District honors in volleyball. In basketball, she was honored as a first team All-SWC, first team All-District, and third team All-Ohio member and was also chosen as SWC Player of the Year. She finished her basketball career with 933 points and is currently ranked sixth in OFHS scoring history. She is also the all-time leader in foul shots attempted in a single season with 211. Wren continued her athletic career at Muskingum College, earning four varsity letters and a total of 987 points. As a senior she was the only player in the OAC to average a double-double with points and rebound, and she received All-OAC honors for basketball and academics. She coached girls’ basketball at OFHS for four years and currently teaches first grade for the district. She and her husband Matt live in Strongsville with their two children Owen and Reese.
