FROM THE CLASS OF 1937 - Mr. Ken Stofer
 
Ken was an outstanding athelte in three sports. In football, he was a tailback and received All-Country recognition. In basketball, he played on the 1937 team that went to the State finals. In track, he ran the relays and threw the javelin and discus. He won a total of nine letters during his high school career. In 1939 he received a scholarship to Cornell University, where he was captain-elect of the football team and received recognition from Colliers Magazine for being on the All-East team as tailback. He also lettered in hockey. He interrupted his Cornell career to enter the army and was discharged in 1946 with the rank of captain. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bisons, where he played for one year, then returned to Cornell and graduated as a civil engineer. For many years, Ken was in the business with his brother as a manufacturer's representative. Presently retired, Ken and his wife live in Rocky River, OH,a nd Ft. Myers, Florida. They have one daughter.
