New Batting Cages

Two 70 foot batting cages were installed by Ohio's own Victory Athletics over Winter Break, and the players have taken full advantage of using them during open cage sessions. The cages, a result of a generous gift from the Olmsted Falls Athletic Boosters, operate on two separate motorized winches/pulleys so that they can be stored at ceiling level when not in use. A vinyl flooring system was also purchased to prevent any damage to the gymnasium floor. 3 baseball teams, and 2 softball teams will be able to occupy these cages year-round. In the past, all 5 teams shared one cage, that was only able to be put up during the months of March-May.
